Presenter Information

In order to synchronise times between parallel sessions despite different lengths of invited and contributed talks, the parallel sessions may start at slightly different times!

Oral presentations in the bcc are held in the two lecture halls on the ground floor. On Wednesday, these will be subdivided into three lecture halls in order to provide for three parallel sessions. Lecture halls are equipped with PC, beamer, remote control and laser pointer. One staff member attends each room.

Invited presentations are allocated 25 min plus 5 min for discussion. Contributed oral presentations are scheduled for 20 min. The talks should finish after 16 min in order to leave 4 min for discussion. It is essential to adhere to this timing in order to guarantee synchronisation of parallel sessions.

Please bring your presentation on a USB drive. A staff member will assist you in uploading it to the conference PC. Presentations for the morning sessions must be uploaded before 8.15 h. Afternoon presentations must be uploaded up to 30 min before the start of the respective session. Bcc will open at 8.00h in the morning.

All presentations will be deleted from the conference PCs by conference staff.

All speakers should arrive 10 min before the start of their session to meet with their chairperson.

Poster presentations are held in the central foyer hall of bcc. Poster boards are labelled with numbers and pins are provided. The maximum size for your poster is 146 cm in height and 118 cm in width.

Poster sessions are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You may put up your poster before the start of the morning session of the respective day. All posters should be mounted by 12.30 h to allow for viewing during lunchtime - even though the official poster session starts later.

Posters will be removed at 8.00 h the following morning.
